New Members

Formed in 1976 for females from the age of 18 when joining:

A-not-for-profit organisation:

$30 Joining fee (Administration/Gold Members Badge and BoxNet access)
$30 Annual fee (Payable at the commencement of each year)
$12 weekly fee (Payable monthly in advance by direct transfer or weekly cash payment)
$75 Uniform bond payable upon issuing of uniforms. ($50 will be refunded on return of uniforms and deemed to be in good condition, no later than two weeks after resignation.)

Repertoire:

We perform a varied repertoire of modern, contemporary and classical favourites, including songs from musicals, traditional ballads, and pop in 2, 3 and sometimes 4 part harmony. The current active repertoire is approximately 30 songs.

Joining Requirements:

Contact the choir secretary.
Attend two (2) choir practices as an observer
Complete and submit a membership application
Audition - A voice test given by the Musical Director

The ability to read music is desirable but not essential.
Sight-reading ability is desirable but not essential.
